SOUTH COAST SPOTLIGHT…..

We’ve recently gained some amazing new listings along the South Coast – Dorset, Wiltshire and moving into Hampshire. So we thought it’d be nice to share our pick of the best pubs, restaurants and retailers selling Salcombe beer in the region, so you can enjoy your favourite beer in style…..

** The Brewers Arms, Martinstown

https://thebrewersarms.com/

The Brewers Arms is a true traditional English pub – a jewel in the Dorset crown.

The pub was originally built as a girl’s school in 1848 and converted into the village inn in 1865 when the beer came from the Brewery House opposite. In the early years, the pub was particularly popular with farmers washing their sheep in the washing pool just up the lane in front of the pub. The washing pool is still there and now acts as the starting point for the annual Duck Race which sees hundreds of plastic ducks “racing” each other down the stream.
