** The White Horse, Stourpaine

The White Horse Inn is a traditional pub, steeped in heritage, in the quaint village of Stourpaine, just outside Blandford Forum. It has won a multitude of awards over the years for its excellent food and drink offering.

Dating back to the early 18th Century this pub was originally two buildings converted into one. Today, the inside provides an open-plan layout with a bar, restaurant, shop, post office, games room, wood burning stoves & an open fire.

This is a genuine real ale venue. With a constant changing offering, owners Gordon and Kate have created an authentic space with an great atmosphere. Famous for its range of ales and live music on Sundays, its a great place to spend a few hours with friends.

A classic village pub – run by Alan, this is the heart of the village, and rightly so. It’s a classic all rounder with great food, great beers and a great atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.

Landlady Mary has been described as ‘the most welcoming lady on the planet’ and the pub has fantastic reviews, so basically it’s a winner all round! A proper old school pub with lots of creature comforts.
