Crabfest 2018

Crabfest is one of our favourite events! The festival celebrates the brown crab, Cancer Pagurus, which is caught off the South Devon coast by the Salcombe fleet. Taking place on Sunday 6th May there will be a variety of local food, drink and craft industries showcasing their products, creating a fun and vibrant day out for all.

This year, the annual celebration will see celebrity chefs Matt Tebbutt, Jane Devonshire and Mitch Tonks demonstrate their culinary skills along with some fantastic local chefs. Don’t forget to also check out the crab picking masterclasses and crab pot making classes so you can fully educate yourself on Salcombe’s most famous resident!

We will have our bar down there selling a range of our beers including gift sets so pop by and say hello! The weather is looking beautiful (fingers crossed). We look forward to see you for a tipple or two!
