An amber ale with a name reflecting that the Salcombe Ria is a haven for both British species of Seahorse. A sweet and smooth ale with a gentle spicy hop character, hints of burnt caramel and a smoked malty finish. We have joined forces with The Seahorse Trust to help conserve these amazing animals, donating 5p a bottle towards their work.
Salcombe Pale Ale
A fresh, full bodied and powerfully hopped pale ale. Its orange twist raises a glass to Salcombe’s 19th century fruit trade, with orange, pink grapefruit and anise on the nose. Dry hopped with Summit and Simcoe, for a robust, complex beer that’s bursting with flavour.
A refreshing session lager using two contrasting British hops, Jester and Boadicea. The Jester brings hints of tropical fruit while the Boadicea introduces subtle spicy notes with hints of orchard blossom. Together, they help bring structure and balance to this elegant lager.
Island Street Porter
Inspired by the Island Street boat builders, we’ve carefully crafted a velvety, delicately bitter porter with just a hint of sweetness. Eight different malts combine to suggest dark chocolate, coffee and black cherry. While the aroma pleasingly suggests Black Forest gateau. Champion Beer Award by Taste of the West 2020, Gold award winner by SIBA 2019.
